The city has grown to roughly 114,124 people, and about 73 percent of the housing is detached single family homes. Just over half of it was built since 2000. If your slab has surface damage, old staining, a patchy repair or a finish that has gone rough, resurfacing gives you a new working surface without tearing anything out. We open the concrete with the grinder, deal with the cracks and low spots, then build a fresh coated surface over the top and finish it with a polyaspartic layer that shrugs off UV and hot tires. Quartz Broadcast Floors
Plenty of Murrieta garages get used as a second workshop or a home gym, and the bigger homes out toward State Route 79 and the golf course communities have the room to do it properly. Quartz is the step up for those spaces. The grains build a harder, more textured surface than standard flake, so it grips better underfoot when the floor is wet and it takes heavier traffic without showing wear. How quickly can you get to Murrieta?

My house is only a few years old. Does the slab still need grinding?
Yes. Newer Murrieta slabs are cleaner but no less sealed. New concrete is smooth and sealed on the surface, which is the worst thing a coating can stick to. Grinding opens the pores so the epoxy bonds into the slab instead of sitting on it.
Can I pick the color of the flake?
Yes, and most Murrieta customers do. You can. Flake comes in different blends and chip sizes, and we bring samples so you can see them in your own garage light before you decide.
How long before I can park on it?
Installation is fast and the downtime is short, but the exact wait depends on the system and the weather that week. Eddie will give you the timeline for your floor before the job starts, so you can plan around it.
We just bought a new build near the Town Square. Should we coat the floor before we move in?
That is the easiest time to do it. An empty garage means nobody has to shift cars, boxes and shelving out first, and the coating goes down on a slab that has not had a chance to soak up oil yet.
