Residential flooring installation
A home floor you can park on, work on and show off
Residential flooring installation here means one thing: a hard resin floor bonded straight onto the concrete you already own. Garages, patios, back rooms, laundries and workshop slabs all take the same treatment. Nothing gets torn out, and nothing gets covered over with a product that hides the problem.
Dinofloor Coatings is Eddie, his son Elias and their family. They do the grinding, the crack filling and the coating themselves, on your floor, in your driveway. That hands-on habit runs through everything on our Menifee flooring services, because the prep is the part nobody sees and the part that decides how long your floor lasts.

What does a home floor coating actually involve?
Most of the job happens before any color goes down. We run a diamond grinder across the whole slab and take off the old sealer, the paint, the glue and the top skin of the concrete, so the pores are open and the coating has something to bite into. Then we fill the cracks, chase out the pinholes and vacuum the dust. The International Concrete Repair Institute publishes the surface profile standards the coatings trade works to, and hitting that profile is the difference between a floor that stays put and one that lifts in sheets two summers later. Only once the slab passes that check do we start coating.
That check is standard on every job we take as a Menifee coatings contractor.
Which finish looks best in a house?
Decorative flake is the one most families pick. The chips are broadcast into the wet base coat, then locked under a clear topcoat, and the speckled pattern hides dust, tire marks and the odd drip better than any flat color. Quartz broadcast gives you more grip underfoot, which suits a laundry, a patio or a slab that gets wet. Solid color reads clean and modern, and it makes a two-car garage look twice as bright. Every one of them can carry a polyaspartic topcoat for extra hardness and color hold. If you want the detail on how each system is built up, our epoxy floor systems page walks through it.

Call (714) 600-6609Will it survive Menifee heat and hot tires?
That is the real test out here, and it is where cheap floor paint fails. Tires come off the freeway hot, sit on the slab, then grip the soft coating and pull it up when you back out. It is called hot tire pickup, and it is the reason a hardware store kit peels in patches within a season. A properly ground slab and a polyaspartic topcoat handle that heat, along with the sun that pours through an open door most of the year. That is the same build we use for every garage floor coating in Menifee, because inland garages here get hammered by heat far more than by weather.
The same heat-tolerant build goes down on shop and workspace floors too.
How long is my garage out of action?
A standard two-car garage is usually a one to two day job. You clear the floor the night before, we grind and coat, and most homeowners are walking on it the next day. Vehicles wait longer, and the exact number depends on which system goes down and how warm the week is, so we give you the schedule in plain language before we start rather than after. Eddie and Elias run the job from first grind to final topcoat, so there is nobody new turning up halfway through. We work the same way for homes in Chino and across the rest of our patch.

Straight answers to your floor coating questions
Do you only coat garages, or patios and inside rooms too?
Any sound concrete slab in the house is fair game. Garages are the bulk of what we install, but patios, laundries, back rooms and workshop floors take the same systems. If it is concrete and it is solid underneath, we can coat it.
My slab is cracked and oil stained. Is it too far gone?
Almost never. Grinding removes the stained top layer, and we fill cracks and pinholes before the base coat goes on. Old oil sometimes needs extra cleaning first, and we will tell you straight if a slab is not a good candidate instead of coating it anyway.
How soon can I park on my new floor?
You can usually walk on it the day after the topcoat, and vehicles go back on a few days later depending on the system and the weather. We give you the exact timeline for your floor before we start work so nothing catches you out.
Is a coated floor slippery when it gets wet?
It does not have to be. We can add a non-slip grit into the topcoat, or use a quartz broadcast finish that builds texture into the floor itself. Tell us where the floor gets wet and we build the grip in at the start.
Can you match the color to my house?
Yes. Flake blends, quartz colors and solid colors all come in a range, so you can pick something that works with the house rather than fighting it. We bring samples to the estimate so you can see them on your own slab in daylight.
Do you install home floors outside Menifee?
We do. Menifee is home base, and we also work in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Corona, Riverside and Chino. If you are somewhere in that stretch of the Inland Empire, call and we will let you know.
