Resurfacing gives a sound slab a brand new top. We do not pour concrete and we do not break anything out. We grind the old surface open with a diamond grinder, fill the cracks and pinholes, then bond an epoxy or polyaspartic system over it. That coating becomes the floor you walk on, park on and hose down.
Eddie and his son Elias run the grinder themselves, because the prep is the whole job. A coating grabs bare, open concrete. It does not grab dust, old paint or a slab that was sealed years ago. Get that part right and the finished floor reads as one clean surface instead of a patchwork of stains and old repairs.

Is my concrete a good candidate for resurfacing?
Most slabs are. If the concrete underneath is solid and the damage sits on the surface, resurfacing is the right call. Pitting, spalling, oil staining, flaking paint and hairline cracks all disappear under a properly bonded coating, and you keep the slab you already paid for. What a coating cannot do is hold a broken slab together. If a section has sunk, if a crack runs right through and the two sides sit at different heights, or if the concrete crumbles when you scrape it, a coating only hides a problem that is still moving. What actually makes a resurfaced floor stay put?
Preparation, not the product in the bucket. Every job here starts with a diamond grinder, never a paint tray. Grinding takes off old sealer, paint and the weak top skin of the concrete, and it opens the pores so the resin can key into the slab. Cracks and pinholes get filled after that, while the floor is still open. The Portland Cement Association puts surface preparation at the center of how any bonded topping performs, and that matches what we see on real floors. Coatings rolled over a dirty or sealed slab peel in sheets, usually right where the car parks. Ground open first, the same coating stays where you put it.

Whatever you want, because the new surface is a blank slate. Decorative flake is the popular pick for garages: color chips broadcast into the base coat, then locked under a clear topcoat. Quartz broadcast gives a heavier, textured surface that suits shops and work areas. Solid color reads clean and modern, and it shows off a tidy garage. How long does it take, and when can I park on it?
Most home garages are a one or two day job, and the amount of crack repair usually decides which. Day one is grinding, cleaning and filling. The base coat goes down after that, and the clear topcoat is the last step. Foot traffic comes back before vehicles do, and Inland Empire heat moves cure times around, so Eddie gives you the real schedule before anything starts rather than a guess. Nothing gets rushed to hit a number, because a rushed coat is the one that fails. If your slab is already in good shape and you only want protection on top, concrete sealing is the shorter version of this job.

What is concrete resurfacing?
It is a new wear surface bonded over the concrete you already have. We grind the old slab back to bare concrete, repair the surface, then coat it. Nothing gets torn out and no new concrete gets poured.
Do you have to break out my old concrete first?
No. Dinofloor Coatings coats concrete, we do not pour it. If your slab is sound, resurfacing gives you a new floor without the demolition, the dumpster or the wait.
Will resurfacing hide the cracks in my garage floor?
Stable cracks get filled and vanish under the coating. A crack that is still moving is a different story, and we will say so before we start, because no coating can hold a slab together.
Can you resurface a floor with old oil stains on it?

How long does the job take?
Most home garages run one or two days from the first pass with the grinder to the final clear coat. Crack repair and square footage move it either way, and you get the schedule before we start.
