Coatings, not demolition

The concrete you already have, made new on top

Most concrete complaints are surface complaints: stains that will not lift, a dusty gray finish, pitting, and the scars of old patches. Breaking the slab out and repouring is the expensive answer and usually the unnecessary one. We are a coatings contractor, so we fix the surface: grind it open, deal with the cracks and pinholes, then bond a new wear layer over the top.

Surface preparation, not the product, is what the Portland Cement Association points at when a bonded topping fails, and it matches what we see on every slab we open up. Being honest about the limits is part of that.

Not sure which one your slab needs? Send us the details and we will tell you what it needs.

Dinofloor Coatings does not pour concrete, and a coating cannot hold a moving slab together. If yours is heaving or failing right through, we will say so rather than sell you a finish that hides it for a season. If it is sound, start with concrete resurfacing in Menifee.

Concrete Coating Services in Menifee

Concrete Resurfacing

Resurfacing gives a sound but tired slab a brand new wear surface without the demolition, the skip, or the wait for concrete to cure. The old surface is ground open, repaired, and coated so what you walk on is new right across the floor. Here is what is involved in how resurfacing works.

Concrete Sealing

A sealed floor stops drinking in everything that lands on it. Oil, brake fluid, water and dust sit on top where a mop can reach them instead of soaking into the slab and staying there. Sealing is also the last step that protects the finish underneath. See how we handle concrete sealing.

Think your slab is past saving?

Send us a photo or let us come and look. If a coating is the right answer we will tell you, and if it is not we will tell you that too.

Straight answers to your floor coating questions

Do you pour new concrete?

No. Dinofloor Coatings works on concrete that is already there. We grind, repair the surface, resurface and seal. If you need a new slab poured, you need a different trade.

What is the difference between resurfacing and sealing?

Resurfacing puts a new wear surface over the slab so it looks and behaves like new concrete. Sealing puts a clear protective layer over the surface you have so it stops absorbing stains. Plenty of floors get both.

Will resurfacing hide my cracks?

We repair cracks before we resurface so they do not show through. If a crack is still moving, we tell you, because no surface treatment can hold a slab that is shifting.

Can you resurface a driveway or a patio?

We work on concrete surfaces, and the same grinding and coating approach applies outdoors. What matters is the condition of the slab underneath, so we look at it before we quote.

How long before I can use the floor again?

Light foot traffic is usually fine within a day of the final coat. Vehicles wait longer so the finish reaches full hardness. We give you the exact days in writing before we start.

Do you work on commercial concrete?

Yes. Shop floors, service bays and light warehouse slabs all get resurfaced and sealed the same way, with the system matched to the traffic the floor takes.
