Which commercial floors do you coat around Riverside?

Can you coat our floor without shutting us down?
Usually, yes, and it is the first thing we plan around. We split the floor into sections so half the space keeps working while the other half cures, and we schedule the loud, dusty grinding for the hours you are closed. Polyaspartic topcoats cure much faster than standard epoxy, which is why they end up on bays and aisles that have to be back in service quickly. Before anything starts, you get a written running order: what happens on which day, what has to be moved, and when each section is walkable and drivable again. Far easier than bare concrete, because there is nothing left for the mess to soak into. Raw slabs are porous, so oil, coolant and brake fluid sink in and stay there as dark shadows. A cured resin floor is one continuous surface, so spills sit on top and come up with a mop or an auto scrubber. That matters for safety as well as looks: the National Floor Safety Institute treats clean, dry, well maintained floors as the front line of slip and fall prevention. Where a floor gets wet or greasy on purpose, we build a non-slip aggregate into the topcoat so grip stays high without making the surface hard to clean.
That grip is built into the topcoat over the resin base we install.
What if our slab is oil stained, cracked or patched?
That describes most commercial floors we look at, and it is rarely a dealbreaker. Diamond grinding takes the contaminated top layer off and opens the concrete underneath, oil-soaked spots get cleaned and treated before anything else happens, and cracks and pinholes are filled so the finished floor reads as one surface instead of a map of old repairs. A patchwork slab that looks past saving usually just needs the surface rebuilt, which is exactly what our concrete resurfacing work does. We coat concrete rather than pour it, so if a slab has a structural problem underneath, we say so up front instead of hiding it under resin.

How much downtime should we plan for?
Most small commercial floors run two to four days depending on square footage, how much prep the slab needs and the system you choose. We work in sections and around your opening hours so the whole unit is rarely offline at once. You get the day-by-day schedule before we start.
Will pallet jacks and forklift traffic damage the coating?
A properly built system handles wheeled traffic, which is exactly what it is designed for. We spec a thicker build and a harder topcoat for aisles and loading areas than we would for an office or a showroom. Tell us what drives on the floor and we build to suit it.
What about oil, brake fluid and cleaning chemicals?
Cured epoxy and polyaspartic floors are chemical and stain resistant, so the usual shop fluids sit on the surface instead of soaking in. Wipe up spills and the floor stays the color it was installed. Tell us if you use anything aggressive so we can pick the right topcoat.
Can you add safety lines, bay markings or a non-slip finish?
Yes. Line marking, bay outlines and walkway borders can go into the system before the clear coat, so they wear with the floor rather than peeling off it. Non-slip aggregate can be added anywhere grip matters, like wash bays and ramps.
Do we have to empty the whole unit first?
Only the section we are working on. We plan the run so you can shift racking, tools and vehicles once instead of clearing everything out at the start. Heavy fixed equipment can often be worked around, and we look at all of it during the estimate.
